MPP Schreiner is concerned that small businesses are being left vulnerable without a relief package as statistics show that a majority cannot survive the financial hardship caused by COVID-19.
MPP Schreiner wrote a letter to the Minister calling for the following actions to help small businesses:
- Grants of up to $5000 for small business to assist with rent and utilities
- Freeze on commercial evictions until pandemic is over
