MPP Mike Schreiner released the following statement in response to the Alliance for a Liveable Ontario’s new report card that gives Ontario a failing grade in addressing the housing crisis.
“We know what we need to do to solve the housing crisis – build more homes in existing neighbourhoods, legalize gentle density and invest in deeply affordable housing.
The Ford government is doing none of the above, and their rock-bottom housing starts prove it.
MPP Schreiner echos the Alliance for a Liveable Ontario’s concerns about the Ford government’s failure to address Ontario’s housing crisis. We’ll continue to put forward bold solutions to make sure that everyone in our province has a home they can afford in a community they love.”
