GUELPH — MPP Mike Schreiner released the following statement in response to the release of the Ontario Ombudsman’s annual report.
“The record number of complaints made to the Ombudsman’s office in so many major areas tells you everything you need to know about this government’s priorities.
The Premier’s disregard for the people of this province shows up everywhere from overcrowded, unsafe jails to lack of supports for people with disabilities to severe delays at the Landlord and Tenant Board.
The word for this is unfair. Ontarians shouldn’t have to put up with a government that puts friends and insiders before ordinary people.
I will keep fighting for a fairer, safer, stronger Ontario where people are the priority – not insiders.”
