TORONTO, ON — Mike Schreiner released the following statement after the Premier’s press conference:
“I agree with the Premier tightening restrictions today, but he did not go far enough to avoid the catastrophic second wave we are headed for.
The Premier is sending mixed messages by asking people to stay home, while keeping casinos, indoor dining, and bingo halls open in red zones.
The Premier was caught red-handed this week putting people’s lives on the backburner.
He signed off on a plan for a public health disaster and misled us into believing it was endorsed by medical experts.
We cannot afford any more lapses in judgment.”
