QUEEN’S PARK — Mike Schreiner released the following statement after 11 health organizations said that pandemic pay had yet to flow to frontline workers:
“It’s Promises Made, Promises Delayed for the Government.
Whether it’s testing or pandemic pay, the Premier is not following through with the promises he makes in his daily briefings.
It’s unacceptable that a month after announcing the pandemic pay, nurses and other frontline workers have yet to see a penny.
And it’s wrong that not all healthcare staff are included in the Premier’s delayed promise for pandemic pay.”
