This is why throughout the pandemic I have called on the Premier’s government to provide clear goals based on science and public health advice to help us navigate a safe reopening.
We need targets not politics.
I urge the Premier to provide clarity to the public by setting clear, evidence-based targets that will help Ontario get to a place where we can open safely and stay open.
The people of Ontario, small businesses and frontline workers have sacrificed so much. The least this government can do is stop relying on arbitrary dates and instead base their decisions on clear evidence and public health advice that is communicated clearly to Ontarians.
Public health decisions should be based on what is best for the people of Ontario.”
