QUEEN’S PARK – MPP for Guelph Mike Schreiner has written to Ontario’s Auditor General requesting a full investigation into the decision-making process behind the purchase and resale of a private aircraft for the Premier, as well as the resulting financial impact on the province:
“If this government won’t come clean about the details and costs to taxpayers, we’ll have to force their hand,” said Schreiner.
“The message from Ontarians is clear: They’re tired of all these government secrets. They’re tired of seeing this government use our taxpayer dollars like its own personal piggy bank.
“We will continue to use every tool we have to hold this government accountable to the people of Ontario.”
