TORONTO — Mike Schreiner made the following comment on the rollout of the antigen rapid tests:
“For weeks I have called on the Premier to roll-out rapid tests in our long term care homes, our schools and to essential workplaces.
And for months these “game-changing” rapid tests sat unused.
I’m relieved to learn that the Premier has seen the light and has finally decided to introduce the antigen rapid tests in our most vulnerable settings.
We need to see a transparent plan on how these tests will be distributed and used in all settings, including schools, Long Term Care plans and businesses of all sizes.”
