QUEEN’S PARK — MPP Mike Schreiner, released the following statement in response to news that the government is now reviewing its plan to assign facilitators to assess six regional governments in southern Ontario.
“This back-of-the-napkin ‘review’ is yet another sign of a government in total disarray.
Yet another flip flop that makes it harder for municipalities to care for their residents and plan for the road ahead.
What this province needs is a government that listens to and partners with local leaders.
Right now, local leaders are saying they need the province to step up and deliver real housing solutions that put ordinary people ahead of the Premier-connected speculators.”
